Pumpkin Praline Right Out of the Oven

Thanksgiving Traditions

By Abby A, Pie Bar Marietta

Every year, the leaves begin to crisp into a bright yellow, the air turns cool, and everyone seeks coziness from precious sweaters and sweet desserts. Along with that comes Thanksgiving, where families old and new gather, and new traditions are born.

Dishes are exchanged and with that, so are memories! My family and I enjoy watching the Macy's Day Parade. The Gobble Jog is another opportunity for holiday bonding, hosted by Must Ministries.

But of course, cooking and crafting together is a great way to share family stories and the recipes that have been passed down through generations. Making hand turkeys with family is one of my personal favorite things to do. Add glitter or rhinestones to snazz up any hand turkey!

Get into the holiday spirit by decorating your home with a thanksgiving color scheme. A great way to decorate your senses is to add the smell of cinnamon and pumpkin (#cinnamonbroomsallthewayyy).

Buuuut our fav way to fill our home with cozy scents is by baking a pumpkin pie! If you enjoy baking, you can pick up one of our Take & Bake All-Butter Crusts to make the process easy-peasy. If you're not about the baking life (and that is okay if you're not), you can Pre-Order a freshly baked Pumpkin Pie and pick it up at our Thanksgiving Pie Drive Thru located at our Commissary Kitchen in Kennesaw on Thanksgiving Week!

Regardless of how you choose to celebrate Thanksgiving, we would LOVE to be part of your yearly tradition! Have a Warm and Happy Thanksgiving!
